  1. PORTRAITS OF AMERICAN PRESIDENTS

  3. INSTALLATION
  4. To run Portraits of American Presidents, you need
  5. Apple Multimedia Tuner, QuickTime 2.0, and Sound 
  6. Manager 3.0.  If you have a Power PC, you also need 
  7. QuickTime Power Plug.  
  8.  
  9. If you do not have these extensions, drag the 
  10. extensions from the Extensions folder on the
  11. CD-ROM into the System folder on your hard drive.  
  12.  
  13. Select RESTART from the SPECIAL menu after you
  14. copy all of the extension files to your System
  15. Folder.
  16.  
  17. After restarting the computer, insert the Portraits of
  18. American Presidents CD-ROM and double click the
  19. American Presidents icon.
  20.  
  21. Enjoy your adventure through history!
  22.  
  23. TROUBLESHOOTING
  24. If a message says that you already have
  25. a newer version of the file you are copying, select
  26. CANCEL.  You do not want to replace a newer version of
  27. a file with an older version.  
  28.  
  29. If a message says that you have an older version of the file you are copying, select CANCEL and move the older
  30. version of the file into the disabled Extensions folder.  Copy the same file again from the CD-ROM to the 
  31. System Folder.  The older version will be in the
  32. disabled Extensions folder if you ever need it.
